This spool end is specifically designed for Zen Toolworks spools and features a large diameter of 9.5 cm and a small diameter of 7.2 cm. It accommodates a 608 bearing on one side, which fits snugly into the spool. The bearing's position at the inner end (top when printing) eliminates the need for support. I have used the legs from mscourch's spool holder available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:52927 for added convenience.
