As of February 14, 2020, this thing will no longer be updated on Thingiverse.com. Over the last few years, this website has failed to develop new features that most users actually care about. As a result, the site has become unacceptably slow. I will continue to respond to comments on Thingiverse but all future updates will thrive and grow exclusively on PrusaPrinters.org. https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/21964-spool-cuff-for-mmu2-buffer-replacement-experiment UPDATE: March 18, 2020. I have abandoned this experiment. This is my new solution for filament management: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3902957. This concept is purely experimental and may or may not actually work. I welcome enthusiastic testers and feedback, which is why I have published this thing ahead of schedule. If you are interested in testing a custom-sized spool cuff, please let me know in the comments. To stay up-to-date with this project, I recommend clicking the "watch" button. This innovative design is meant to clip onto a spool of filament, serving as a buffer or wallet replacement. The basic idea revolves around using this cuff to prevent filament from escaping or tangling when it unwinds on a device like the MMU2(s). For visual examples, please refer to the accompanying pictures.
