This is a spool weight to keep an almost empty spool from getting pulled off a bearing holder like THIS. I'm aware there's no real standard size for spools, but this one will work with the ones I use. The body of this spool weight measures 55mm in diameter and can span up to a 90mm wide spool. My spool weight was filled with some beads that were lying around, giving it a weight of just over 230g. Once I'm satisfied with its weight, I'll likely glue the bottom on. The top can be easily removed and put back on for installation if needed. A non-spin lug was added to the top in case it wanted to turn during use, which could loosen the bolt.
