Spool cabinet organizer(hatchbox spools)
thingiverse
This is an assembly to convert old filament spools into usable storage units. By utilizing the existing drawers, this addition enhances their functionality without requiring significant modifications. The printed components fit together seamlessly, ensuring a sturdy structure. The design allows for multiple spools to be stacked vertically by adding additional support tubes and rings, enabling smooth rotation. To secure the spools in place, #8 machine screws are inserted through the existing holes, with nuts on the bottom side preventing friction between the drawer and the spool. Print Settings: Printer: FT-5 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 10% Notes: Printed at 70 mm/s in PLA using a 0.6 nozzle, showcasing optimal results.
