Spool Birdhouse
prusaprinters

It's a birdhouse using a few printed parts and half of a Prusament spool. It can be filled with nuts or bird food so local birds have a place to snack or it can be left be in hopes of attracting a tenant.

If any birdwatchers have any suggestions I am happy to make a revised version of it.

Assembly:
Slide the base/bottom of the birdhouse sideways through the birdhouse and let it go to the top of the birdhouse.
Slide in the stick through the hole on the birdhouse (I recommend using some glue as the stick will easily slide out without it).
Slide the base/bottom back onto the hole of the birdhouse.
Insert the birdhouse into the Prusament spool.
Then hang 3 or 4 strings from any of the hexagonal holes and attach them to a tree.

I also included a few photos describing the assembly process in the pictures.

Print instructions

Everything is printed without supports, although I recommend printing the birdhouse itself with a brim and the birdhouse stick with a smaller layer height.
