I head over to Thingiverse and come across this neat design for a 3D printer spool holder, specifically tailored for standard 12VDC spools found on most RepRap printers - the URL is http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2193250. However, I've been experimenting with half-width spools in my own setup and require something more compact, so I thought it would be beneficial to create a variant of this design that's shorter in length.
