
Spool Adapter for Power Drill

When dealing with lots of spools and especially with refill filaments, sooner or later you will find yourself with a tangled spool which can only be saved by respooling the filament. So I was looking for a quick and easy solution to rewind the spool with a power drill and found this adaptive design which should fit any spool. There are some other models with printed axis and hex/bit adapters, but I think they're not strong enough and wear out pretty quickly, so I went with steel…All you need is a M8 or M10 threaded bolt and some hex nuts.Printed in PLA or PETG with 0,2mm. No supports required. The shown model is the M10 version printed in Prusament PETG Prusa Orange.I created the hex insert with SVG layers, so if you want to slice it yourself make shure to use Prusaslicer v2.7 or higher:
