I scoured the internet for a compact spool that consumes minimal filament and is effortless to print. Unfortunately, I couldn't find one that met my criteria, so I took matters into my own hands and designed my own model. It consists of two identical components that can be assembled using a small amount of adhesive. When joined together, they become a single entity with remarkable cohesion. I engineered the design to be printed at a 0.5 mm layer height, with a rim height of 2.5 mm. To ensure optimal performance, it's essential to enlarge the holes using a 3.5 mm drill bit. This approach not only simplifies the printing process but also enhances the overall strength and durability of the parts.
