This is my entry to the "Let there be light!" Prusa contest. It was made in collaboration with my brother, who will also participate in this contest with his take on this lamp which will use an IKEA LEDBERG lamp if you dont want to use a mains powered LED.

With Halloween coming up, I of course wanted some decorations, but the usual carved pumpkin is less appealing when you own a 3D printer. This pumpkin instead of a face has a gaping maw with too many teeth, out of which gazes an evil eye. The pumpkin has a hole in the back through which you can use an E27 light fixing with a low-power LED lamp to illuminate the pumpkin from the inside. I strongly recommend printing the eye pieces in transparent filament, but they should be thin enough that light should even shine through opaque colours.
Please excuse the poor print quality, my printer is in dire need of some upgrades.

Print instructions

I printed this in "Das Filament" grey PLA, 0,2mm layer hight, 2 shells and 15% infill.
