SpongeHog, a Hedgehog Holding Sponge: A Novel Design Remixed from Tomi_3D's Iconic Hedgehog Model. I designed an innovative slot to accommodate a sponge, which I chose to be approximately 70mm x 20mm in size. This precise dimension ensures a snug fit for my sponge of choice. To optimize water drainage, I cleverly added a spout angled at a gentle 2 degrees, strategically positioned to direct excess water out of the hedgehog's mouth. Utilizing a .2mm layer height and 10% infill, I successfully printed SpongeHog without any supports. Once the printing process is complete (~12 hours on my trusty MonoPrice i3), I will share captivating photos showcasing its finished result.
