Sponge Holder (AnyCubic Kossel Mini [Pulley Version])
thingiverse
This is a Custom Sponge Holder for the AnyCubic Kossel Mini that I designed from scratch using Fusion 360. It expertly captures dust particles off of the filament as it passes through the sponge. Two clever small roofs prevent the sponge from being lifted up towards the extrusion system. I printed the sponge holder with optimized sparse supports (10% support density), which come off effortlessly, and any leftover jagged edges actually help to keep the sponge cube firmly in place. To securely attach, use two of the shorter small black screws and two of the small silver rectangular nuts. To put it into action, cut a custom Sponge Cube that fits snugly inside the holder. Next, carefully remove it from the holder and pierce its center with a piece of any old filament you have lying around. I recommend increasing the hole by just a little bit by moving the filament in a circular motion. Enjoy the results!
