I designed a sponge holder using a MakerGeeks Green PLA print job, and it turned out great! I decided not to use any support material during printing, but if I were to redo the project, I'd definitely add supports to some of the holes to ensure they come out smooth. PETG filament would also be a good option for this type of project. To prevent warping, I printed the sponge holder with a brim.
