Monument to the Revolution, a World War II memorial sculpture by Dušan Džamonja, stands proudly at Mrakovica, one of the highest peaks of Kozara mountain in the Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It honors the courageous battle fought by 2,500 Yugoslav partisan fighters who sacrificed their lives, as well as the 68,500 mostly Serb civilians brutally killed or deported to Ustaše concentration camps during the German-Ustaše-Hungarian Kozara Offensive in June and July 1942.
