A wheel sans spokes is often referred to as a solid wheel, and it's designed without the typical radial support structure found in traditional spoked wheels. Instead of individual metal rods connecting the rim to the hub, a solid wheel has a single, unbroken piece of material that forms both the outer edge and the inner core.
