Splitter for Aqara C1 pet feeder
prusaprinters
I have two cats but I didn't want to buy and coordinate two pet feeders, so I designed and printed a splitter. This design is based on my previous WOPET splitter, I just finally upgraded to a name-brand pet feeder and needed to redesign the splitter.Just print it with supports under the spouts (or use the included pre-sliced file) and attach it to the feeder's bowl mount from the bottom. It does require lifting the pet feeder up a small amount, so print four of the feet and hot glue them onto the four corners of the pet feeder.Note that the uneven split is intentional as my feeder dispensed food more towards one side of the spout and I wanted to dispense equally between the bowls. If your feeder doesn't have this problem, let me know and I can export a different STL, or you can use OnShape to modify it yourself. The CAD model of the splitter itself is available on OnShape, and the CAD model of the foot is attached below.Alibre Design proved to be extremely terrible during the foot design, so I stopped using it and went back to OnShape for the splitter design. The OnShape document linked above also contains a foot model that should be more or less equivalent to the version I uploaded here, but I rebuilt it in OnShape without doing another test print, so there's no guarantee of that.
