Split Spaceballs Chest Bursting Alien

Some friends were hosting an Alien themed party and needed to utilize https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1057666, however I declined to print the entire model at once. I also appreciate flipping these types of models on their backsides to conceal support gunk. I successfully employed meshmixer to divide the base from the alien, then utilized the old netfabb basic to repair the model. The split isn't ideal but it fulfilled my requirements. I inadvertently snapped a finger, but fortunately it's healing well and will build character in the long run.
