Split Creepy Reaching Hand
thingiverse
I had to detach the hand from the wrist in order to put things onto the hand, so I created a quick little Openscad hack. The Openscad program is licensed under GPLv3, and the hand model included with the script is CC BY. The only change made compared to the source was centering it on the origin, allowing me to split it using my Openscad program. Therefore, if you display this, you should attribute the original model as it is unlikely that the changes produced by the Openscad program can even be copyrighted. STLs included are scaled 2x from the original creepy reaching hand and are intended to be used with #10 threaded rod (cheap and readily available at the local home depot). The holes are 20mm deep on each side, and I used 35mm sections of rod for this. The source is also available at https://git.hcoop.net/clinton/3d-models.git/tree/HEAD:/creepy-hand
