Split Collar thingiverse

Split Collar

thingiverse wwendorf 1970211 Free

I had need for a split collar, and I ran out of them in metal, so I figured I'd try a 3d printed one. Just print the 2 halves, then tap out the bottom half for 1/4-20 threads. It works great and holds tension on a 3/4" shaft perfectly. I printed out of PETG with 100% infill for rigidity, and just smoothed out the inside diameter with a sanding attachment on a dremel.
