Split 1x2x3 Ryan, you win this round. I like "split 1x2x3" a lot better than "1x2x3 2x2x3 mashup," but it's not like it was your idea to name it "split" anyway! >:( Anyhow, here's my 1x2x3 with sliding caps and center supports. I also came up with this puzzle, so you're technically downloading the original, even though I uploaded this design way after Ryan. Support the designers! If you haven't yet played with this puzzle, it's moderately hard, unlike its 1x2x3 counterpart, and is actually a little fun to solve. It also looks crazy bad when scrambled. Go ahead and print away! Print: + 1 x Center-1 + 1 x Center-2 + 4 x Corner-1 + 4 x Corner-2 + 2 x Cap Assembly First, slide all the corner pieces into the centers like you would on a 1x2x3. To assemble the cores, you'll need one M3 screw and nut as well as a spring. Put the nut in the center with the hexagonal hole. Put the spring on the screw and put it through the other centerpiece. Screw the screw into the nut. That's pretty simple. Slide the two caps in and apply stickers to secure them in place. And that's it! Disclaimer This puzzle is built with zero tolerance, meaning there's no space between the pieces. You'll probably need to do a little sanding to get the pieces just right.
