Splined Idler Pully for Mini Kossel
thingiverse
To utilize the 623 bearings leftover from another project, they were employed in the Mini Kossel (MK) assembly. The splined design facilitated a sharp shoulder print without overhang problems and offered symmetrical construction. The printed texture of the spline and wheels provided a surprisingly strong grip. Proper printer tuning is essential for optimal results. Assembling the idlers requires printing one spline and two sides per idler, which can be snapped together using pliers or a clamp/vise. Finally, insert bearings and enjoy!
