Splendor + Cities Expansion Game Box Insert

<p>Both Splendor and the Cities Expansion come with suitable inserts. &nbsp;However, there is no space left in either box to include parts from the other. &nbsp;This insert lets you combine all your Splendor cards/tokens/pieces into a single box.</p><p>This is a challenging project, consisting of four 3D printed parts and a host of laser cut pieces. Be patient and ask me questions if you get stuck.</p><p>The 3D prints were made from PLA at .2mm layer height. &nbsp;The clearances work so the lids can slide on and snap in place (and, of course, unsnap for removal). &nbsp;The 3D printed jars are not connected to the insert – they just rest in their allocated positions.</p><p>I laser cut all wood from 1/8" plywood and sanded it to .115 inches (a pass with 120, 150, and 220 grit on the ROS). &nbsp;Then, some careful planning is needed to ensure the glue-up is in an order that doesn't block any other joints.</p><p>The filenames for the DXF files are somewhat descriptive of where they go. &nbsp;The filename also specifies how many copies you will need of each piece.</p><p>Good luck! &nbsp;Enjoy the extra space in your game closet to purchase some other game.</p><p>Please post a make and comments to let me know how it went.</p><p>--Bill</p>
