I craft and sell these versatile Splash Spools, each containing compact spools of adaptable flexible filament. I initially worked with 1.75mm filament but after expanding my product line to include the 3mm size filament, thanks to owning a Lulzbot mini, I discovered that the filament has a tendency to slide off the spool as it reaches the end. This handy retainer keeps the filament securely in place on the spool. Its design is intentionally loose to enable smooth rotation of the spool within its confines. I envision this solution also being suitable for larger spools, though my mini's platform proves too limited to manufacture one at present. Results show a marked improvement when printed with SemiFlex, while NinjaFlex works somewhat better due to its stickier nature.
