Spitfire V1 Scale Flying Aircraft (1000mm)

This is another entry to my 1000mm balsa conversion warbird series. The British Spitfire is well known plane to any WW2 enthusiast and I've tried my best to do it justice here. Built in a similar strategy as my previous conversions, using all 4mm thick spars and formers to keep it scale down ready to 60%. At full size this model is right around 500 grams, using 1 wall, 2 bottom and 2 top layers on all frame pieces at .2mm layer height with 10% gyroid infill. 2/13/2022: I've added Servo mounts in the wings and rear fuselage along with an electronics platform and a new set of bottom control horn ailerons. These are technically the v2 parts but will be included in the V1 download. I'm currently building a fullscale carbon fiber pla Spitfire now, added a couple pictures above.
