The Propeller of the Spitfire is designed using Autocad 3D and comes in 5 parts that are glued together, with a root hub diameter of 3.4cm for fitting into the spinner. The complete propeller measures 375mm or 14.76 inches from root to tip, but this can be scaled according to your model's scale (e.g., a 1:8 model would require dividing the full-scale by 2). Recommended print settings include vertical walls with 2 shells, infill honeycomb/rectilinear at 5%, and solid layers of 3 for both top and bottom. A print speed of around 50mm/s is recommended for a smooth and sharp finish, especially at the trailing edge of the blade. The estimated filament needed for one blade (1:4 scale model) ranges from 15 to 25 meters (49ft to 82ft). It's suggested to print with PLA material to prevent warping.
