Spirit Island Bottom Fillers for Plastic Pieces
thingiverse
One of my pet peeves is hollowed out plastic pieces, particularly like those found in facking Spirit Island (which I love by the way), so I botched these together in Tinkercad. If scaled correctly you can just force them into the bottom of the pieces. No lubricant required, just a hard desk and a bit of good old fashioned Mc'lovin'. You MUST do a scaling test first though as it has to be just right - if the insert is too small it'll just pop right out and everyone involved will be unsatisfied. My procedure for the scaling test involved printing a range of each piece at XY scaling between 100%-106%, and then spamming out the size(s) that fit the best. For the Base Game alone, you will need: 20 City Fillers 32 Town Fillers 38 Blight Fillers If you have Base Game + Jagged Earth, you will need: 30 City Fillers 48 Town Fillers 62 Blight Fillers I printed one extra of each, which worked out well, because one of the blight counters is still hiding in my garage somewhere.
