I prefer to repurpose materials whenever possible. The screws that secure the power cell's lens seemed like an ideal candidate for holding the new red lens, which I cut from a plastic binder purchased at a dollar store. I used a hole punch that fits snugly onto the existing screw post. Additionally, these screws now hold the 7-segment Neopixel boards leftover from another project. https://youtu.be/AJ8IMnxVirY The two-piece design allows for easy insertion and removal of the Neopixel boards. This is achieved by gluing approximately 60% of the standoff to the ring, enabling a small degree of flexibility in the remaining portion. This flexibility makes it possible to insert or remove the board without causing any damage. Initially, I placed the LEDs too close to the lens, which resulted in an unappealing appearance. To address this issue, I added a standoff, and the revised design now looks more aesthetically pleasing.
