I acquired the Spirit 600 race wing from Banggood, and it required some stiffening on the control surfaces. I also wanted to install a surface-mount 1806 2400kv motor, so I created a mount and control surface add-on for anyone interested. Be cautious of motor heat if you use PLA, as it can cause the mount to melt. The outer screw holes in the mount are designed for small screws into a glass fiber mount that's already mounted on the model. To ensure a flat fit, I had to drill additional holes. Replacing the glass fiber spar with a carbon rod is also highly recommended. Additionally, I added a remote antenna wire mount on top of one wing for your FPV antenna. This update reflects changes made as the project progresses; I've included a wing tip replacement that significantly improved flight performance.
