I designed and built a lamp based on an advanced ws2812b-LED strip system. The LED strip is connected to an ESP8266 board, running WLED software, and powered by a reliable 5-volt power supply. The lamp consists of two main parts: a cylindrical base that features a precision-cut groove to securely hold the LED strip in place, and a translucent cover that fits snugly over the cylinder. The spiral groove is carefully crafted with a depth of exactly 3mm and a height of 12mm, ensuring compatibility with any LED strip that measures less than 12mm in height. The total length of the spiral is approximately 2 meters or 6.5 feet long.
