'Spiral wonton' glass piece scanned with 123D Catch
thingiverse
A handblown glass sculpture by student Kenny Galusha at the University of Nebraska-Kearney was photographed in 3D using 123D Catch, before being refined with Meshmixer and netfabb Studio Basic for printing. The model is available as a textured OBJ file and a .3DP project file; remixing it could yield a unicorn if combined with a horse shape. Printing recommendations include Full Support, 0.2mm layer height, one shell, and 10% infill on a Makerbot Replicator with Grape Candy ABS filament.
