Spiral wineglass-holder
thingiverse
A spiral wineglass holder perfect for your kitchen or dinner table awaits. Print 6 of the wineglass arms and snap them together at 60-degree intervals, their orientation guided by long marker lines every 60 degrees on the outside of the tube. If you prefer to experiment with different rotations, short tics mark every 45-degree increment. For heavy glasses, hot-glueing arm segments together creates a more rigid stack. The pedestal inserts neatly into the base, while the arm assembly snaps effortlessly into the pedestal. The pedestal's design accommodates storing a wine bottle inside, and you can elevate the assembly with an interesting top by hot-gluing it to one of the optional top-mount pieces. I've adorned mine with chrome cheese platters and musical Christmas snowman globes, but the possibilities are endless. I've also explored multi-height stack assemblies holding 12 or even 18 glasses that spiral up through two or three rotations. The tall stacks create a visually appealing display and store multiple wine bottles, though they might be more suitable for low side tables or the floor rather than dinner tables. To add visual interest, print the glass-holder arms in different colors. I've alternated red and green for Christmas, but you could try red-white-blue for patriotic days, French tricolors, or other colors that reflect your nationality. Orange and black would be perfect for fall parties.
