Spiral Tree in Spiral Mode
cults3d
A spiral tree designed to print in a unique spiral mode! Perfect for the holidays, I created this tree specifically for tea lights and made a forest that I shared with family and friends as a special treat. The base of the tree is the raft printed with the design itself. This innovative tree was designed using Mathematica's powerful tools. I printed them two at a time in vase mode using the duplication feature on my MakerGear M3-ID Rev. 1 printer, which made the process seamless and efficient. The spiral tree looks amazing with translucent red and translucent green PLA filament, but it also pairs well with clear or natural filament. Unfortunately, I don't have any of those filaments left for photos at this time, although I might just print some more tomorrow to showcase them properly. One of the best features of these spiral trees is that they stack together easily for convenient storage and display. Whether you're using them as a decorative piece or a functional item, they are sure to impress. I designed this spiral tree in December 2018, and it has been a hit ever since.
