Spiral to Print Your Own Dual Color Filament
cults3d
If you want to print your own 2-color filament, try out this spiral, pause at 50% and switch colors. Once it's done, check the consistency of the diameter to make sure it won't get stuck in your extruder. Then just use it like any other filament! This spiral is 1.75mm and should fit in most 3D printers. I've included the Fusion 360 file if you want to make any changes, like change the diameter or make it longer! The files are .obj instead of .stl as I've found that most slicers have some trouble with this shape as an .stl. The other spirals I've found online take infinity to slice. the .obj should only take a second. Make sure your bed is TOTALLY FLAT. This is a good torture test for leveling. The vase model can be found here: Honeycomb Vase Parametric (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:891147)
