Spiral Table Leg

Spiral Table Leg

How do you like my coffee table? Print 4 legs, get a suitable piece of wood and you can have one too. Becoming the King of Retract is just part of the process. It's approximately 200mm tall because that's the limit of my printer in z-direction. If yours is larger, scaling it up a bit taller should be no problem! I attached mine to the table board with double-sided tape, but there are four through-holes included in the design if you prefer to screw the legs on instead. I printed this in black PETG (shiny!), and it should work just fine in any reasonably stiff material (e.g. ABS/PLA/etc.). If you have time, make it super pretty and print at 0.1 mm layer height, but mine was done at 0.25 mm and still took around 11 hours per leg with a 0.35mm nozzle at 25% infill. Use a brim if necessary to help with bed adhesion, depending on your printer setup. A great place to put things! The max load I've tested is about 15 kg. Cheers!
