Spiral Staircase Digital Asset 4
grabcad
I sketched out a large circle and extruded it and then a smaller circle on top of it, which then was extruded up to the same length as the diameter of a circle. Then, I created an offset plane above the extruded large circle and sketched a new circle and 2 tangent lines connecting from that new circle to the bigger circle's edge on the inside. Once that figure is extruded, fillet is used on the corners. On top of that step, I started out a new sketch, where i created a slightly smaller circle than the original large one and to help me see the middle of the circle, i created a horizantal centerline, and on the intersection between the centerline and the right side of the slighly smaller circle than the original, i created a small circle, and another one along the circle, so both of them are within the step. Extrude the first small one all the way to the bottom of the very first sketch and the other only extrude up from the step. Create a helix/spiral from the slightly smaller circle from previous sketch. And use curve driven pattern to distribute the steps up. The same thing was done for the 2 small extruded sticks. Afterwards, create a sketch on top of the very first extruded stick, place a circle from the middle to the middle of the small circle (the stick's center on top). Create a helix/spiral and using the sweep feature, form a railing.
