Spiral Space Station Rib

This rib was crafted specifically for the NASA Space Apps 2016 Origami challenge, and its functionality is best understood through watching these videos: https://youtu.be/pqe6EsOi_I4 https://youtu.be/eXwAYMj823s One thing to keep in mind when printing these ribs is that each one is intended to be a slightly different size. The included model is too large for standard 3D printers, so I recommend scaling down to 1:35. Each rib is scaled by a factor of 1.023% over/under the adjacent rib, placed 10 degrees apart - an exactly 20% increase over 180 degrees. This results in a torus-type design if you print out multiple ribs at the same size. If you plan to create the exoskeleton type structure shown in the video, you will likely need glue or another adhesive to attach the "cross-bar" pieces and where the ribs hook into the ribs above. It would be great to see it if anyone decides to take on this project.
