Spiral Minaret based on Abu Dulaf (Samarra, Iraq)
thingiverse
The minaret's design draws inspiration from the Spiral Minaret at Abu Dulaf, situated north of Samarra in Iraq. The winding staircase within its upper section is likely to be significantly narrower than the original structure. Adjacent to the top stairs of the Great Mosque Minaret at Samarra stands a compact waiting room or storage closet. This model incorporates that feature as well. However, it remains uncertain whether this detail is historically accurate. If not scaled up, the model measures 8.5 by 8.5 by 19.5 centimeters in size. The original building reaches an impressive height of 32 meters.
