Spiral Fountain

Spiral Fountain

A spiral fountain. To print it standing up use the make overhang printable feature in Cura and for the maximum model angle I had good results with 75d degrees using .25 or .3mm layer height. You can also use the make overhang printable setting for the bowl but it should print without it. This is the pump I used: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZW6OHHY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00 You'll want the 80gph pump because the 400gph pump will be to powerful and spray water everywhere. If you printed the base and the spiral separately you'll need to glue them together. The spiral should fit in the groove on the base, but it might be to tight so you might have to file it down a bit. After that put the pump in the center hole using the adapter that came with it. Then put the base and spiral into the bowl putting the cord through the slot on the side of the base. It should go down about a centimeter and then stop. Then you can fill it up and turn it on!
