Merry Christmas, makers! Here's a Spiral Christmas Tree Design for 2015. Inspired by my previous Spiral Top design, I present a new take on holiday decorations. **Print Settings** For the perfect Spiral Christmas Tree: * Printer: Rapide Lite 200 v1 * Rafts: Not necessary * Supports: None needed * Resolution: 0.2mm * Infill: 20% for optimal strength Notes: This design prints beautifully with PLA and sliced with Cura. Print the Spiral Christmas Tree with 20% infill and 0.8mm shell thickness to achieve a stunning spiral effect. Be prepared for some sag on the overhanging branches, but this adds character to your tree. **Spiral Garland** For a more durable garland, print it at 100% infill. This will keep it flexible yet sturdy. **Assembly** Insert the Spiral Christmas Tree Trunk into the base of the tree and the Spiral Post into the top. * Bend the garland near its central circle. * Insert the tab of the garland into a slot on the bottom of the tree. * Arrange the garland around the outside, then twist the center until it looks just right. Secure with the top post. * Place the star atop the post. This design should stay in place without glue. If you want to customize it further, feel free to modify the files using your favorite software! **Licensing** Feel free to remix and share this design under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike License. Just remember to link back or use the "Remix" feature on Thingiverse.
