Spiral Bound Book Name Tag

Spiral Bound Book Name Tag

I created this clip for my son's school class name tags. Each child has one book with their name written only on the front, but when stacked in the shelf, names can't be read and each book needs to be pulled out until the correct one is found. The spiral was made from a plastic wire with a diameter of about 2.5mm and a total diameter across of about 23mm. It's designed to be a bit hard to clip on so that it won't fall off easily, but this can sometimes break the small clips - maybe print a few extra. A "top" indicator is marked on the back side as the clips are turned slightly to line up with the angles of the spiral. Print Settings: Printer: Hictop Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .1 Infill: 100 Notes: I just printed these at 100% infill since they're quite thin. Post-Printing: Just a bit of sanding around the edge to remove any blobs. How I Designed This: Fusion 360
