Spiral Bottle Container Super Fast
thingiverse
This container is built from two halves that snap together seamlessly using a screw/spiral mechanism. The box is precision-designed to hold a Talisker whiskey bottle perfectly, and the screwing/unscrewing process is incredibly easy, even relying on gravity alone. You can view a video demonstration here: https://youtu.be/FeGQvewy7ps To achieve perfect results, printing must be done in vase mode (spiralized outer contour). My final model was created using the following settings: * Spiralized outer contour mode * Creality Ender 3 printer * 0.2 mm layer thickness * 1mm bottom thickness (adjust this to add extra strength) * Printing time: approximately 6h45m for each part * SUNLU PETG+ filament * With SUNLU PLA+, printing would take around 6h10m for each part To ensure a perfect print, both halves must be printed in spiralized outer contour mode with the screw section positioned on top. Important notes: * Use the inner half as the top half to prevent any mishaps during transportation of the enclosed bottle. * Printing parameters must be carefully set to avoid delamination issues at the bottom of the container; otherwise, the gift may not survive a fall! This box is designed specifically for Talisker bottles but can accommodate any bottle with 305 mm in height and 80 mm in diameter. If you need custom bottle measurements or want to scale up/down the original design to fit your needs, just let me know! Print it out and share your results. It's a breeze! Click "post a make" or download [3D Geeks: for 3D Printing APP](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=work.twob.threed) and snap a photo! I'd love to see that my design has helped someone create something amazing.
