Spiral Bevel Gear Templates - Parametrically Editable
grabcad
This upload features user-defined spiral bevel gears with various tooth counts and left/right handed spirals. However, these gears lack profile shifting, undercuts, and real-world engineering specifications. They solely represent involute profiles. The spiral is an Archimedean helix, differing from the Gleason system. Each gear requires five inputs: number of teeth, metric module, tooth length, and hand of spiral (for crown gear only). Crown gears produce larger tooth counts, while pinion gears work best within 12-25 teeth range. Pro/Engineer may require multiple regenerations for accurate results. Utilize mapkeys to expedite the process, and be mindful of tooth count limitations when using specific input parameters.
