SpinRings - The perfect Fidget Spinner (probably)
prusaprinters

SpinRings are my take on a classic 3D printed design. A series of concentric spherical rings that print as one piece, interlocking and spinning inside of one another.

My version, built in Shapr3D, features a couple of small tweaks. First the outer ring has a concave surface making it easier to grip. A 10 week study, conducted by an independent fidget spinner testing facility, concluded that this results in 40% less accidental drops 20% of the time (except on Mondays)

This concave edge also allows the SpinRings to stand on their edge and roll, although doing this goes against the principles of fidget spinners and will lead to eternal damnation.

Finally you will find a small divot in the centre piece making it easier to locate the middle of the SpinRings while blindfolded, a common problem.

Prints fine with a 0.4 or 0.6 nozzle, standard PrusaSlicer settings. The 0.3mm tolerance between the rings should not cause problems, I've printed tons with zero stuck.
