Spinosaurus

Built by Team Synx's SwiftBeatz, CarbonaraFreak, & Titri. Check us out at http://teamsynx.com/ The massive Spinosaurus Aegyptiacus is recreated in Minecraft, set against the backdrop of its swampy habitat - a region now known as the Sahara desert. This colossal predator was the largest fish-eating dinosaur to ever roam the Earth's surface and the last of its kind. Based on fossils and other models, this digital recreation brings to life what it might have looked like in its prime. Fossils of this dinosaur were first discovered in Egypt back in 1912. The enigmatic sail atop its back remains a puzzle waiting to be solved. Was it used for navigating the waterways, regulating body temperature, or perhaps deterring other dinosaurs from encroaching on its territory? This project, born out of Team Synx's collective creativity, was completed in just two weeks.
