Spinosaurus Cervical Vertebra

Spinosaurus Cervical Vertebra

sketchfab

The centerpiece of a Moroccan Spinosaur's cervical vertebra is likely to be from the species Spinosaurus aegyptiacus. This identification rules out Sigilmassasaurus brevicollis due to the noticeable absence of a triangular rugose plateau on its underside. Some dorsoventral crushing is evident in this specimen. It was discovered in the Kem Kem Beds of Morocco, dating back to the Cenomanian period of the Late Cretaceous era, measuring 11.8 cm in length.
