Spino a USB Organizer

Spino a USB Organizer

myminifactory

This is a handmade USB organizer inspired by porcupines, capable of holding up to 10 USB sticks in a compact two-line design. I required an organizer that catered to my unique needs, but existing products typically featured a single row of USB ports. I decided to create my own custom solution. The organizer was printed on my RepRap printer using the Prusa I3 model. The printing settings included a resolution of 0.2 mm and 10% infill, without any rafts or supports required. Initially, I came across standard two-line USB organizers, but they didn't accommodate all my various types of USB sticks. To create a universal design, I measured the largest USB stick and used it as a reference point. After some experimentation, I found that leaning the stick at 45 degrees resulted in an aesthetically pleasing arrangement. The idea struck me to craft a body around the set of sticks, then carefully remove the USB sticks from the mold to refine the design details. This process allowed me to create a functional and visually appealing organizer that resembles a porcupine.
