Spinning Top Volcano
cults3d
I was browsing online for gear mechanisms when I stumbled upon an incredible spinning top that resembles Mt Fuji as it spins. This is a project I worked on using the same principles - as you spin it, you see a volcanic cone surrounded by mist. My version is much flatter and wider, so I'll call it Mt Ruapehu (Auckland, New Zealand). I highly recommend printing this model with different colored filaments. Unfortunately, all I had were grey and white, which could really benefit from more contrast. Try using black and white or dark blue and white instead. I've included two STL files for you to work with. They should be properly set up. You will need to use rafts, but it printed fine without supports.
With this file you will be able to print Spinning Top Volcano with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Spinning Top Volcano.
