Spinning Knob Topped Handle for Threading Tap

I recently made a customized tap handle designed for small taps to create threaded holes for screws. This design improves upon the existing tap by adding a spinning knob at the top, allowing users to apply pressure with one hand while twisting it with the other using their second hand. The mechanism relies on a small 1mm diameter post supporting the knob in the design's cutaway views. Once printing is complete, twisting the knob causes this support to snap and frees up for effortless spinning. For optimal results, print the handle with the pointed side facing downwards (I used a brim for this purpose). You may need to rotate the file 180 degrees within your slicer, as it defaults to having the knob at the top. Important considerations: 1- The design source file is native to FreeCAD. 2- A square hole of 3.5mm has been designed, taking into account the side-ooze on most printers. Although it accommodates 2.8mm taps on my printer, adjustments may be required for optimal fitting in your device. Cautionary notes: 1-The design might become wobbly during printing due to its construction. 2-Chopping down part of the knob may help alleviate this issue while still achieving satisfactory results. 3-As an afterthought during the final print, a more efficient printing method could involve shortening the tap's square hole and relying on natural filling processes offered by your printer. A 1cm depth should suffice for most applications; simply add a cylindrical fill to compensate for excess material in the tap hole.
