Spinning Acrylic Paint Rack
thingiverse
For a modular version of this rack, check out thing 2933751. This rack rotates using 6mm Airsoft-style plastic ball bearings. To create the top part, I printed it upside down, using supports for the first 10mm. No supports were needed anywhere else on the top. The printing settings used were three shells and an infill of eight percent, with layers measuring 0.32mm thick. Printing the top took approximately forty hours. For the bottom part, I printed it with the support in place within the bearing race, though these supports probably aren't necessary. M5 10mm screws can self-tap if handled carefully. Note: During printing of the top, a quality issue arose with ripples and a support pulling out from the tray section, resulting in a small hole visible in the picture. Hopefully, you possess better printing skills than I do.
