I discovered an exceptional design in Spinnetti's Printrbot Metal Simple Fan Shroud that can be adapted perfectly on E3D hotend, and I concluded it would be better to add a cut for a snap fit without disassembling the hotend. To accomplish this, I utilized MeshLab to carve out a part, even though Cura indicated an error in the file, which surprisingly worked flawlessly. The printing process has been significantly improved since you won't need any supports when printing it directly on the fan fitting. However, to adapt it to the Minimalist E3D holder, you will have to remove a portion using a Dremel, allowing for the desired orientation. If printed in PLA, it fits snugly but if printed in PETG, I recommend bending the bottom corners with pliers to tighten the fit.
