Spinner-size ball bearings - working 608 3D print model
cgtrader
Hello everyone! This is a printable working design of standard ball bearings, the ones found in fidget spinners. Despite numerous designs being available, this one excels for FDM/FFF printers, even entry-level ones, due to the minimal number of spheres and meticulously calculated distances between elements. This print requires no support whatsoever, working seamlessly as soon as printing is finished! Motion hinges on the quality of your printer, smoother movements translating to less friction. Notably, it still operates effectively despite this. The design measures 608 standard, at 22 x 7 x 8 mm. Additionally, there are four shrinkage options: .2, .3, and .4 (mm), allowing for compatibility with a wide range of printing settings and materials. A custom .4 option is also available on the spheres and internal faces but not on external diameters; this is particularly useful when using bearings on industrial-grade equipment. Test prints have been successfully conducted on the Zortrax M200, followed by assembly into a common fidget spinner. Important notes: This design is not suitable for casting and has not been tested with DLP/SLA printers.
